Sorakuen
“Sorakuen” is the only one traditional Japanese style garden in Kobe. This garden is located near Hyogo Prefectural Government building in Motomachi area. The grounds are full of nature, a big cycad wood(sotetsu), large and old camphor trees, pond and streams. You can enjoy peaceful and quiet atmosphere.
There are also some outstanding buildings. The front gate, Kawagozabune (Houseboat), Kanshintei (Tea house), tha Hassam house and the Kodera stable.
